This year, by initiative and organization of the MFPA, the “Golden Frame” Film Revue was held for the first time from 22 – 24 February 2019, representing insight and display of the completed Macedonian films in one calendar year.
The aim of this event is to provide an opportunity for the domestic audience to see the new accomplishments of the Macedonian cinematography, and to allow the film professionals to exchange opinions and experiences on their work.
At the first presentation of the “Golden Frame”, a total of 25 films were shown, of which 2 were feature films, 16 short films and 7 documentaries. Some of the authors attended the projections. A presentation of MEDIA desk Macedonia was held as well, in order to introduce the filmmakers with the ways and possibilities for applying for these funds.
The “Golden Frame” Film Revue is of a non-commercial character and the projections are free of charge.

This type of representation of the national cinematography is performed worldwide and it represents a part of the support and education of the domestic audience of its cinematography. Most of these movies are not shown in cinemas, and this is an excellent opportunity to show them before our audience.
As with all creative accomplishments, the film as the most complex art needs the utmost support from its audience.
